The end of the single job

I see that having one job that you stay in for the whole of your working life has ended certainly here in Wales, final salary pensions no longer viable (not that there was the remotest chance for me) and even the security of a contract is fairly ethereal, which must be scary for those for whom this is or was their life.

So to harness all my creative talents i must, from recycled bicycle tyres belts i fashion, pedal my cab, deliver veg, collect re-cycling for the eco-group, make body surfing hand planes from the offcuts of ply i espy, continue with the hens, and in winter the carpenter awakes.
 In short make many small amounts of money.

A rich man i never will be by the weight of money but richer in life i certainly am amongst the wealthy.

Monday an extra holiday

Bank Holiday Monday - the day of travel, or a day of doing little jobs in the sun.
The making of signs all lovely and varnished, hand painted lettering to pass the on the message of an ocean lifestyle.
Memories of Costa Rica coming to the fore and smile at experience.
I finished the "work" jobs and and have started on making myself a body surfing handplane, a simple fun little object that helps to harness waves.
A return to simplicity.

Tired Sunday morning, late night after a long day, plans of dozing and drawing sustenance.
 My friendly sofa beckons me to a day of quiet lassitude after a walk to savour the sussaruss of waves upon the shore.
Yet laundry needs doing and general housework requires attention, so some or all will be tried today, in readiness for the week.
